Bitpaper and Kami

My tutoring makes use of two powerful online tools: Kami and BitPaper. Together, they create an interactive, flexible, and effective learning environment for Physics students.

BitPaper – The Virtual Whiteboard for Live Lessons

BitPaper is the platform I use for all live online tutoring sessions. It combines a shared whiteboard with video call features, so we can work together as if we were sitting side by side.

Benefits of BitPaper:

  • Interactive whiteboard – both student and tutor can write, draw, and solve problems in real time.
  • Clear explanations – I can sketch diagrams, annotate past papers, and break down calculations step by step.
  • Saved notes – each session is saved so students can revisit explanations afterwards.
  • Easy access – students only need a free account and a link I provide to get started.

Kami – Past Paper Practice Made Easy

Kami is an online platform where I share past papers with students for targeted exam practice. It’s the tool I use for my Past Paper Support Service.

Benefits of Kami:

  • Real exam practice – students can write directly onto the paper with a stylus, just as they would in an exam.
  • Ongoing feedback – I can see work in progress and give hints, tips, and guidance as the student goes along.
  • Collaborative tools – we can highlight, comment, and annotate together to make feedback clear and actionable.
  • Record of learning – all marked papers and comments are saved, so students can revisit advice any time.

Why These Tools Matter

  • They make online tutoring feel natural and interactive, not passive.
  • Students stay engaged because they’re writing, solving, and thinking actively.
  • Parents and students get the reassurance of a clear record of progress and feedback.
