Welcome! I’m David, an experienced Physics teacher and leader with over 25 years of teaching experience. I studied Physics at the University of St Andrews, one of the UK’s top-ranked universities, before completing my teacher training at Oxford University.

I’ve taught physics in the Independent sector for over 24 years and led a successful Science and Technology faculty for 18 years.

My teaching style is friendly, highly structured, and clear, making complex ideas easy to understand.

I provide support for all major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, CIE and others) at both GCSE Physics and A-level Physics. My goal is to help every student build confidence, improve exam technique, and achieve the best possible grades.

Tutoring Packages

GCSE Physics

• £80 per hour
• Block of 5 lessons: £375 (save £25)
• Block of 10 lessons: £720 (save £80)

A-Level Physics

Block of 10 lessons: £810 (save £90)

£90 per hour

Block of 5 lessons: £425 (save £25)

Sessions are run online using BitPaper, which combines a virtual whiteboard with video call. This makes it easy to work through questions together in real time.

2. Past Paper Support Service – £125 per paper

Struggling with exam technique? I offer a specialist past paper package:

• I share a past paper with you via KAMI.
• You have a week to complete it at your own pace.
• I provide WhatsApp support throughout the week for quick questions.
• I can mark as you go, giving hints, tips, and guidance to help you improve.
